Professor

Tae-Sun Chung

Tae-Sun Chung received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from KAIST, in February 1995, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Seoul National University, in February 1997 and August 2002, respectively. He is currently a professor at the School of Information and Computer Engineering at Ajou University. His current research interests include flash memory storage, XML databases, database systems, and deep learning engineering.

Sung-Soo Kim

Sung-Soo Kim received the B.S. and the M.S. degree in Electronics from Seogang University, in 1982, 1984 respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, in February 1995. He is currently a professor at the School of Information and Computer Engineering at Ajou University. His current research interests include dependable system & network, autonomic computing, and ubiquitous computing & network.

Prince Hamandawana

Prince Hamandawana received a Ph.D. degree in artificial intelligence from Ajou University, Suwon, South Korea, in 2020 and a B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in Computer Science from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, in 2010. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Software, at Ajou University. Previously he worked as an Assistant Professor at Soongsil University School of Computer Science and Engineering (2021 - 2022). His research interests include distributed and parallel storage systems and machine learning performance optimizations.

Preethika Kasu Anand Rao

Xiaohan Ma

Xiaohan Ma earned her Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Ajou University, Suwon, South Korea, in 2024, following her Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from the Nanyang Institute of Technology, Nanyang, China, in 2014. Presently, she holds the position of Lecture Professor in the Department of Information and Communication at Ajou University. Her research is primarily focused on machine learning, generative models, and the innovative application of these technologies in sign language and image generation.
